Wish List
In-kind (non-monetary) donations help us provide families with the things they need to transition through times of crisis. Please consider donating new or lightly-used items today!
Please note: It is difficult for us to pick up donations because doing so takes valuable staff time away from our clients. We greatly appreciate your assistance in coordinating a drop-off to our main offices at 995 Market Street, at 6th Street. Please contact us at (415) 644-0504 ext. 306, or kmansfield@compass-sf.org.

Our clients need the following items:
Baby supplies and items for children
- Disposable diapers and training pants – for all ages, all sizes and types (diapers are our number one need because they are costly and most of our families have infants or toddlers)
- Baby formula, baby wipes, bottles, onesies and blankets
- Gently used cribs, highchairs, strollers, car seats, baby swings, and bouncy seats
- Children’s books, school supplies, and backpacks (only new or very lightly used, please)
- Toys – only new toys can be accepted at this time, to give to children for birthdays and holidays
Toiletries and personal items
- Toothbrushes and toothpaste, feminine hygiene products, soap, deodorant, shampoo, etc. Personal/travel size, regular size, or family size
- New packaged underwear, socks, and bras
Clothing (all clothing should be laundered and stain-free)
- Especially infant and toddler clothing, and maternity clothes
- Adult clothing in good condition (plus sizes are always in demand, as are back-to-work clothes)
- Outdoor clothing - hats, gloves, boots, and raincoats
Household items
- Furniture for families moving into new homes - dressers, beds, table and chair sets, etc.
- Basic dishes and kitchenware - dishes, utensils, small appliances, and pots and pans
- Linens - towels, sheets, blankets, comforters, curtains
- Cleaning equipment - vacuum cleaners, carpet shampooer, cleaning supplies
Other
- Food - canned foods, crackers, dried fruit, and other foods that can be stored
- Gift certificates for retail stores for groceries, discount family clothing, school/office supplies, and other necessities

Our clients are working hard to build self-esteem and find housing and employment. Please only consider donating items that are in good condition without stains and tears. Thanks you!
