Refer client families to Compass Childcare Support Services to get help applying for subsidies and childcare, ie. Compass Children's Center

How to Refer a Client Family to CCSS

Send an email to and include the following: 

  • Client name, tel/email/primary language

  • If the client is in CoDa Salesforce, please include a link to the client record

  • Child(ren)’s name and Date of Birth (DOB)

  • Housing situation if you know it

  • Any other relevant information

  • Forward voicemails to x2330


Please advise your client that they will receive a call soon to confirm eligibility and discuss next steps (ie, enroll in CCSS or refer out for childcare).

How to Refer a Client Family to CBHS

Therapy is available to any family enrolled in one of Compass's programs. Please make a referral for your client to Compass Behavioral Health Services through CoDa Salesforce here

Counselor of the Day

Telephone crisis counseling to clients who need someone to talk to. Clients will be called back within 1 business day of their request.


There are 2 different ways for a client to request a Counselor of the Day crisis counseling session.

  1. Client can call (415) 644-0504 and leave a message saying that they would like to speak to a Counselor of the Day or a therapist.  

  2. Staff member emails Susan with the subject line "COD needed". In the email, please provide client's full name, client phone number, and client's primary language. 

If the client is experiencing severe psychiatric symptoms and needs help immediately, please inform your Program Director and email Susan.
