Request a Furniture and Household Goods through Make It Home

Make It Home is a Compass partner agency where you can request FREE furniture, ie. beds, dining tables, and other household items for your client families.
How it works:
Request groceries, toiletries, hot meals and items pick up for your client families through Compass Family Resource Center.
Indicate the day and items your client will pick up at 37 Grove in the list linked below. For items not typically provided through CFRC, please make sure to indicate where the item in the list is so CFRC staff can ensure an easy pickup for your client family.

Make sure your client knows to pick up only during CFRC's open hours.

Monday 9 am - 12 pm, 12 pm - 5 pm
Tuesday 9 am - 12 pm, 3 pm - 5 pm
Wednesday 9 am - 12 pm, 12 pm - 5 pm
Thursday 9 am - 12 pm, 12 pm - 5 pm
Friday 9 am - 12 pm, 12 pm - 5 pm
Saturday CLOSED
Sunday CLOSED
CFRC is closed ALL DAY on Training Day (4th Tuesday of every month).

Compass has partnered with Farming Hope and their second restaurant, Refettorio, to provide free meals and groceries to Compass families while also networking with others in the Compass community.
Meal Pick Up Days: Monday & Friday
Meal Pick Up Times: Between 4 pm - 5 pm
Meal Pick Up Location: 149 Fell Street, San Francisco
Compass staff will be onsite from 4:30 pm - 5 pm to greet and connect with families.
The form to request meals can be shared with Compass families. Compass parents must ensure they have registered for meal pick up. If they have registered and receive text alerts from Refettorio then great! If not, they will need to register to ensure there are enough meals to be picked up.

How it works:

Request a mini- grant (funding) to provide education, enrichment and urgent support for Compass kids

Here is an example of what you can request a mini-grant for:
8-year-old 2nd grade student in Oakland requested $250 to attend Mathnasium, The Math Learning Center, to improve her math skills, as she was failing math.

Funding requests are due the last Wednesday of each month.
