领养家庭
“领养家庭”是我们一年一度的节日项目，旨在将个人、家庭、团体和办公室团队与无家可归或面临迫在眉睫的风险且无力购买节日礼物的Compass家庭配对。对许多家庭来说，这些礼物将是他们在节日期间收到的唯一礼物。
How Does Adopt-a-Family Work?

Sign up to participate in Adopt-a-Family via the form. In the form, make sure you specify your preferences, such as how many families/people you would like to adopt. You should anticipate spending a minimum of $150 per family member.
There are two options for participating in Adopt-a-Family: traditional wishlists and gift card wishlists.
Traditional Adopt-a-Family
SIGN UP to fulfill wishlist requests for your adopted family or families based on the lists they provide.
SIGN UP to fulfill wishlist requests for gift cards from specific retailers for your adopted family or families.
Gift Card Adopt-a-Family
When registering, we strongly encourage a donation to Compass of $150 per family adopted to help offset the significant costs of running this program.

Staff will follow up to provide you with the wish list of your matched family or families. Lists typically get distributed between mid-October and mid-November.

Go shopping! Learn more about your adopted family or families through their wishlist(s) and help fulfill their holiday wishes.

Drop off your gifts. Gift Card Adopt-a-Family participants can mail or drop off their gift cards. Traditional Adopt-a-Family gifts must be dropped off to Compass between December 9 and 13. More info will be sent to you about this process as the time approaches.

VOLUNTEERING AT ADOPT-A-FAMILY
There are many different ways you can volunteer during Adopt-a-Family, whether you are adopting a family or not! Get involved this holiday season and help with administrative tasks or gift drop off and pick up days in San Francisco. It takes a lot of people to make this project successful each year and we'd love your help!
